The Complete Sleep Switch™ Program

ello, my name is John L. Fritz. I will be sharing with you how the Sleep Switch™ program can help you to begin to overcome your challenge of getting to sleep or returning to sleep.

This program can be used successfully even if you are presently using some form of sleep medication or over the counter sleep product. You may even continue to use your current sleep aids while you learn the new skills contained in the Sleep Switch™ program. The majority of people will find that they can comfortably reduce or eliminate the regular use of medication or over the counter products and maintain or even improve upon the quality of their sleep. Always consult a physician before reducing any medications.

Modern mind/body experts have identified two important times of day to consider when dealing with sleep challenges. The first, of course, is the time you go to bed. The second, surprisingly, is when you first wake up in the morning.

When You Go To Sleep

Many people with a sleep challenge experience a sense of distress when they cannot fall asleep. This distress can have a cumulative effect on the mind/body connection through the nervous system and the endocrine system. A sleep challenge that is repeated several times over a few weeks can become learned and is called "conditioned insomnia." The anticipation of a sleep problem can cause distress that, in turn, will multiply the effect of the challenge.

The Sleep Switch™ program successfully helps you unlearn "conditioned insomnia." One thing to consider is your breathing. When you change your breathing, you can change the way you feel and the way your body and mind respond to the stress of the sleep challenge. When you soften, slow and deepen your breathing, letting go of tension and struggle, you change the messages to the nervous and endocrine systems. For sleep challenges and stress relief, knowing how to breathe is like learning the right combination to a locked safe. The problem exists because you do not know the right numbers, the right order, or you are missing something but you do not know what that something is. Trying harder does not help at all. Once you learn the combination and successfully open the safe a few times, you learn that it gets easier and easier to be successful. This is how the Sleep Switch™ program has worked for many people.

When You Wake Up

Beginning your day is like "setting a thermostat" for how you will experience and respond to the ups and downs of the day. A fast paced life causes us to feel like we are juggling situations without sufficient control over the outcomes. This over stimulates the nervous system in a cumulative way. You can become overcharged, have a short fuse, or feel hurried, worried and overwhelmed. This can impact the quantity and the quality of restorative sleep available to you.

To make a predictable difference you must pay careful attention to the first five minutes when you wake up. We highly recommend a "First Things First" morning activation sequence. Using the exercises taught in the Sleep Switch™ program you can learn to relax, connect, and release to balance in thinking, feeling, and moving the body.  Over the years, we have taught many people how to relax immediately anytime, anywhere with eyes open or closed. Most people find that regular use of the "First Things First" and the "Relaxation Sequence", taught in the Sleep Switch™ program, during the day predictably improves both the quality of life and restorative sleep.

rom my experience, learning to return to the way you were born - breathing and expanding relaxation  both during the day and when choosing to return to sleep, can reduce the time it takes to get to sleep and can increase the time you remain asleep by as much as 30-50%. Utilizing the entire Sleep Switch™ program will help you to gain access to the "Sleep Sequence" and teach you the combination that opens the experience of sleep in a predictable way. The length of time it takes to transition to normal sleeping rhythms may depend on how long you have had the sleep challenge. For example, if you have had your sleep challenge for 6 months or less, your chances are outstanding to return to normal sleeping behavior in 30 days or less. If you have had your sleep challenge for many years, the initial 21-30 day usage will usually bring some success. However, 45-60 days may be required for a successful transition to normal sleeping rhythms.

I work regularly with people who receive immediate and sustained results returning to normal sleeping behavior. Some of these people had been challenged for 20 or more years, and sleep medications were no longer working.

Regardless of how long you have been experiencing these challenges - even if the medications no longer "do it" for you - you have an 80% or better chance of returning to normal sleeping behavior in 30 days or less by using the Sleep Switch™ program.
